Hoang The Ky
Hoang The Ky joined HealthBridge Vietnam office in 2013. He is responsible for managing, processing and analyzing longitudinal data sets, as well as working with the research coordinator, international and local research team, and partners to develop protocols for all components of research. He is also responsible for collaborative work and preparation of all technical and project reports. Additionally, Hoang Ky provides technical research and nutrition training for the research team and partners, and ensures that research is conducted to the highest standards.
Currently, Hoang Ky is working part-time on a research project in our Tobacco Control & NCD Prevention program - "Examining the impact of tobacco pricing and packaging strategies on tobacco use and equity in middle-income countries" Tobacco Control program. From 2013 to 2017, he worked on two major projects focusing on nutrition-sensitive agriculture and the links between nutrition and agrobiodiversity: From Field to Fork: Nutrition and Food Security in the highlands of Vietnam and Thailand and “Participatory methods to improve dietary quality in northern west highlands of Vietnam."
Before joining HealthBridge, Hoang Ky worked for World Vision International in Vietnam for five years, providing technical support on health, nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene activities. From 2010 to 2011, he worked for CHILILAB of Hanoi University of Public Health as a researcher and field coordinator.
Ky graduated from Hanoi University of Public Health with Master’s degree in 2012.
