Position
Description
This internship will support HealthBridge and the Global Affairs Canada-funded project “Improving sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in Dhaka”. The “Improving SRHR in Dhaka” project is a 5-year health system strengthening project being implemented in underserved urban areas of Dhaka. Project activities focus on health workers, health facilities and service provision, as well as supporting enabling environments in communities. The project seeks to improve access to quality SRHR services, including family planning and menstrual regulation (the local term for abortion) among underserved populations such as unmarried women, adolescents, and garment factory workers. The practicum student will support the project by analyzing and synthesizing data from the project, and preparing knowledge translation materials using data from the project. The student will also conduct a literature review that will inform the implementation of a sexual and reproductive health project.
The internship will also support HealthBridge to develop other projects in sexual, reproductive, maternal, child health and rights.
Timeline: May – August 2025, flexible timing and work hours according to university requirements.
