The HealthBridge Vietnam team helped the coastal city of Hoi An develop a Parks Master Plan that included development of 79 new parks by 2020.

As a result of the Master Plan, the city built 58 new public spaces and improved 31 sites from 2015 to 2019. The total invested budget was $5 million USD (including $4.7 million USD from the state budget). In 2020 the city had intended to evaluate the success of the Master Plan and determine next steps. Unfortunately the pandemic delayed the evaluation but the city is hoping to being the evaluation in early 2022.
