Abir’s Story: The Successful Journey of a Community Change Agent

 

Community engagement and youth leadership are important components of HealthBridge’s Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) project in Dhaka’s underserved urban communities. Abir’s journey reflects how providing opportunities for young people can lead to strong local leadership and commitment.

Strengthening Community-Based Nutrition Support in Phieng Cam Commune

 

HealthBridge Vietnam collaborated with the Son La Centre for Disease Control (CDC Son La) and local health authorities, to work closely with community members to better understand local nutrition practices, challenges, and communication needs related to maternal and child nutrition.

Safe School Streets in Hanoi

Transforming Safer School Streets in Hanoi: A Collaborative Effort for People-Centred Cities

 

In 2022, the Global Designing Cities Initiative (GDCI) began working with local authorities to make Hanoi’s school streets safer and more people-friendly. HealthBridge Vietnam supported GDCI’s work by strengthening the city’s capacity to design safe streets and implement road safety improvements.
