Steps for Change, Media Volunteer

HealthBridge is seeking a volunteer with knowledge of local and national media to support our Steps for Change campaign. The Media Volunteer will play an integral role in ensuring Steps for Change is widely covered in print, online, radio and TV media.

Fundraising Committee Member

HealthBridge is looking for dynamic, fundraising-savvy volunteers to join our Fundraising Committee!

The Fundraising Committee is a great opportunity to learn more about and support HealthBridge’s work. As a Fundraising Committee member you will actively support and provide advice for HealthBridge’s fundraising initiatives. The purpose of the Fundraising Committee is to ensure and contribute to strategic and well planned fundraising initiatives that contribute to HealthBridge Foundation of Canada achieving its mission.

Fundraising Researcher

As a fundraising researcher, you will work with the Partnership Director to identify prospects including foundations/grants, corporate donors, and sponsorship opportunities.  This critical role will identify and collect contact information from various organizations locally, and across Canada. The work is collaborative, but you can work independently from any location as time permits. As you become more comfortable with the organization, you may have the opportunity to develop proposals and reports for foundations, create grant applications, and draft supporting documents outlining program descriptions.

  • Well organized, with good computer/database skills and a knowledge of MS Office software;
  • Self-directed and professional;
  • A great communicator, both orally and written;

Previous experience in research in a not-for-profit environment would be preferred, but any research experience is desirable. Experience in grant writing and corporate outreach an asset.

Social Marketing Developer

HealthBridge has dynamic website, and profiles on Facebook and Twitter– but know we can do more. If you have experience with online marketing and social media, and would like to help a small charity achieve some big dreams, have we got the opportunity for you!

Ideal profile:

You know online trends and best practices in online marketing and social media including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.  You have experience growing digital channels, and can become our resident expert. You know how to analyse, interpret, and increase traffic through analytics. You have experience using Google Adwords, Facebook advertising, and other forms of non-organic growth. You can provide strategies on how to grow and engage our audience using online channels.
