The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically changed our relationship with our streets and public spaces. The imposed restriction on movement has been disrupting normal life. And, although these restrictions are absolutely necessary to prevent the worst public health outcomes from becoming a reality, it is nonetheless disproportionately hurting many of the communities in which we work.

This was a Livable Cities project with the goal of improving the life quality of residents in Tan Mai ward and livelihoods of female vendors through redesigning and improving an open street market.

HealthBridge participated in a five country research project to increase understanding of the impact of tobacco pricing and packaging strategies on smoking onset, smoking cessation, tobacco consumption and equity in middle-income countries.

Low and middle-income countries (LMICs) are experiencing a nutritional shift from a predominance of problems of undernutrition, including micronutrient deficiencies, stunting and wasting, to a more complex situation characterized by a rapid increase in health problems associated with over-nutrition, such as obesity, diabetes mellitus (DM), hypertensive disease and other non-communicable diseases, (NCDs).

The purpose of the SUN CSA is to mobilize national and international civil society organizations working to improve nutrition in Vietnam.

"Transformative Youth Public Spaces in Hanoi Mexico Montreal and Paris" is a collaborative research project that will comparatively examine how youth use physical and digital public spaces and the consequences on regulation and governance.
