This health systems strengthening project aims to improve the comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of women, adolescents and other marginalized groups in underserved areas of Bangladesh, Nepal, and Vietnam.

To support girls’ education the proposed project aims to improve girls’ participation and retention in school by strengthening and making more accessible comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) and life skills education in secondary schools in rural and remote Nepal.

The goal of this project was to improve access to and quality of reproductive health services for adolescent girls and women of reproductive age in the Kalikot district of Nepal and the Son La province of Vietnam.

HealthBridge worked with local partners and governments in Banke District, Nepal and Son La Province, Vietnam to reduce preventable maternal and child illness and death and improve nutrition for vulnerable mothers and children.

Together with local partners, HealthBridge is examining how poverty, social and gender barriers and living in rural areas contribute to delays in access to, and the quality and utilization of, maternal and child health services in Tanzania. HealthBridge and partners are also identifying interventions to address these barriers through community-based participatory action research.
