Oanh joined HealthBridge in November 2023 as the Project Manager for the project supporting the development and passage of excise tax on sugar-sweetened beverages in the Excise Tax Law in Vietnam. Oanh’s role is to oversee day-to-day project management while planning, coordinating, and monitoring the implementation of Global Health Advocacy Incubator funded project, working closely with other relevant teams from HealthBridge Vietnam.
Before joining HealthBridge, she had several years of experience working as the Vietnam In-Country Coordinator for the Food and Nutrition Portfolio (incl. Cardiovascular Health Program and Food Policy Program) at the Global Health Advocacy Incubator. Before that, she worked as a senior researcher and Deputy Director at the Traffic Safety Research Center of Transport Development and Strategy Institute of the Ministry of Transport in Vietnam and she also worked as the Global Road Safety Partnership’s Program Manager at International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
Oanh holds Bachelor of Science in Transport Economics and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Hanoi University of Transport and Communications. She has also completed her Diploma of Political Theory at the School of Transport Management Officers, Ministry of Transport, Hanoi, Vietnam.
