Professor of Public and Population Health, 
Catherine Hankins is also an Honorary Professor at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, in the Faculty of Epidemiology & Population Health. A community medicine specialist, she was Associate Director and Chief Scientific Adviser to UNAIDS in Geneva from 2002 to 2011. She received the Order of Canada in 2014 for her work on HIV in Canada and globally.
