Healthbridge Vietnam staff delivered three presentations at the Global Cancer Congress 2016, held in Paris from Oct 31 to Nov 3, 2016.

The abstracts, presented at E-poster pods, were:

  • The opportunity costs of alcohol consumption: Evidence from Vietnam, by Pham thi Hoang Anh
  • Advocacy for a strong alcohol control law in Vietnam - Experience of a NGO, by Pham Thi Hoang Anh
  • Assessing the potential impact of tobacco tax increase in Vietnam by using TAXim simulation model, by Le Thi Thu

The Congress was organized by the Union International for Cancer Control (UICC) in collaboration with the League Contre le Cancer of France. More than 3,000 delegates representing researcher oncologists, experts in cancer prevention and treatment, community activists and cancer survivors from over the world attended the Conference.
