The 2017 HealthBridge Annual Report is here—with a fresh, new look!
This has been quite the year for HealthBridge. From Vietnam to Nepal, Ghana to Ecuador and everywhere in between, we have been working hand-in-hand with our partners to improve health and health equity for vulnerable populations.
Our Livable Cities partners launched a pilot project in three major African cities to design, develop and build public spaces in neighbourhoods of need. Our partners in Nepal supported 89 Mother’s Groups in Banke District to establish an emergency fund for mothers and children to travel quickly and safely to health facilities for urgent care. Our partners in Vietnam made smoke-free restaurants in busy Hanoi a reality and are working hard to strengthen tobacco and alcohol control laws.
We are motivated by our achievements in 2017 and have already begun to carry this momentum forward into 2018.
