We all travelled to Bangalore, India, to host and participate in the 2nd Livable Cities South Asia Regional Meet, Jan 28-Feb 1, 2017.

On the second day, the team celebrated Cycle Day with Kumara Park Layout, Bangalore. Thanks to DULT (Directorate of Urban Land and Transport) for arranging the day for us.
Partners from India, Nepal and Bangladesh attended to exchange knowledge and best practices. Special thanks to ESAF for hosting the team!
The ESAF Team from the cities of Bangalore, Nagpur, Cochin and Trichur conducted exposure visits to inclusive parks for our Nepal partner. We also met a community partner, learning from their experiences of promoting non-motorised transport, one neighbourhood at a time.

We wrapped up the 5th day with, “who is going to do what”:
- Bangladesh to replicate inclusive and open gym concept in Dhaka;
- India, to re-design policy interventions and
- Nepal to promote and engage local governments in making Kathmandu walkable along with reclaiming its public spaces.
