As Health and Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at HealthBridge, Behnoush Ahranjani plays a leadership role in supporting partner organizations to develop and implement evidence-based strategies for improving health services for vulnerable populations and those most in need, including girls, women, and young children.
Behnoush has a Ph.D. in Public Health and Epidemiology from the University of Birmingham, UK. She has more than 20 years of experience in public health nutrition, designing, implementing and evaluating health interventions in the Middle East, the UK, South Asia, East Asia, and Canada.
Her focus on nutrition and non-communicable diseases prevention has developed in collaboration with local, regional, and national governmental and not-for-profit agencies and international organizations such as WHO and UNICEF. While her experience is international in scope, her passion is very local; she is committed to working directly with communities to find sustainable solutions to their unique challenges.
