As the Nutrition Advisor & Evaluation Expert at HealthBridge, Behnoush Ahranjani contributes to developing projects aimed at improving nutrition and food security among vulnerable populations in collaboration with local partners. She also plays a leadership role in supporting partner organizations to monitor and measure the impact of their projects while using evidence-informed strategies to refine and strengthen their initiatives.

Behnoush holds a Ph.D. in Public Health and Nutritional Epidemiology from the University of Birmingham, UK, and brings over 20 years of experience in research and evaluation spanning the Middle East, the UK, Southeast Asia, and Canada.

Her work focuses on health and nutrition, which she developed in partnership with local, regional, and national governments, as well as not-for-profit agencies and multilateral organizations such as WHO and UNICEF. While her expertise encompasses global contexts, her passion remains deeply rooted in local engagement; she is dedicated to collaborating directly with communities to develop sustainable solutions to their unique challenges.

Since September 2023, Behnoush has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, leveraging this position to foster collaboration between academia and the global health sector to address real-world issues.
