Trinh Thu Huong joined HealthBridge in October 2019 as a Project Officer. She currently works on the “Strengthen political commitment for passing strong excise tax law” project, funded by CTFK and the “Strengthening the implementation of the FCTC – compliant policies in Vietnam” project, funded by SEATCA. She leads the media and communications components of both projects which includes coordinating advocacy efforts for tobacco control.
Before joining HealthBridge, Huong worked with multiple international NGOs such as CARE, PATH/US, GRET and KENAN Asia Foundation. Her areas of expertise include tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, immunization and vaccines, sharp waste management, cervical cancer prevention, and community health.
Huong graduated from Hanoi University of Foreign Studies with a BA in English. She also completed a Master’s Degree in Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship at the University of Economics and Business which is part of the Vietnam National University.
