Description
Introduction
HealthBridge is an international, non-profit, non-governmental organization that works to improve health and health equity among vulnerable populations through research, policy, and action. Through a partnership between HealthBridge, Ipas Bangladesh, and other partners, the Improving Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Dhaka project (2021–2026) is being implemented in underserved, low socio-economic urban areas of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The project is funded by Global Affairs Canada and focuses particularly on underserved women and adolescents. The overall goal of the project is to improve the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of underserved and vulnerable women and adolescents.
As the project approaches its completion, HealthBridge aims to effectively communicate its key achievements, innovations, and lessons learned to Canadian and international audiences. To support this effort, HealthBridge seeks to engage a consultant to develop high-quality communication products.
Purpose of the Assignment
The purpose of this assignment is to develop one or more professional communication products to highlight the project’s unique aspects and achievements, present project’s key results, and document the General Practitioner (GP) model of care in urban slums in a visually engaging format suitable for donors, partners, and public audiences in Canada and internationally. The first task of the consultant will be to propose a detailed plan, identifying potential deliverables, target audience, cost, etc… after consultation with HealthBridge.
The primary audience includes donors, implementing partners, the Canadian public (including visitors to HealthBridge’s website), HealthBridge newsletter recipients, and board members. The focus is on Canadian/international audiences rather than Bangladeshi audiences.
