SERAC-Bangladesh with support from Ipas Bangladesh has celebrated 16 Days of Activism-2022 from November 25 to December 10, 2022, with the theme ‘UNiTE! End violence against women and girls’ under Improving SRHR in Dhaka project in 38 areas of Dhaka North and South city corporations.

Projonon Sastho Bandhu of both Borhanpur and Baddanagr team of Hazaribagh area organized an 'Art Competition' focused on violence against women to portray the real scenario of their community. A total of 30 adolescents participated in the competition and 5 winners were selected among them.

The idea of this event was generated by the volunteers (Projonon Sastho Bandhu) themselves. After the competition, they have shared about where to seek support and helpline numbers for violence. This event came out to be a successful one with some beautifully painted art works by the community adolescents. This event has motivated volunteer teams to organize such events in their own communities to make them more engaged and bring out the real stories of violence in the form of art.
