Details

HealthBridge Canada, the World Resource Institute (WRI), and the Administration of Technical Infrastructure (ATI) of the Vietnamese Ministry of Construction signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build a new partnership that aims to foster the development of green, safe, and sustainable urban infrastructure in Vietnam.

The MoU signing ceremony took place at a workshop co-organized by the three organizations on Oct 21st, 2021. According to the MoU, in the next three years, HealthBridge, WRI, and ATI will collaborate and support each other in order to mobilize resources and experience in two focus areas:

  1. Development of urban parks, greenery, and water surface; and
  2. Improvement of safe and sustainable urban road infrastructure in Vietnam to encourage active modes of transport such as walking, cycling, and public transport, and providing safe access for all, notably for people with disabilities.
